Tyler Davis is a defensive tackle prospect for the talented Clemson Tigers' defense. He is mainly used as a 3-technique but also has the size and strength to be used closer to the interior, as a 1-tech or nose tackle. Despite being a highly touted recruit and starting immediately as a freshman in 2019, Davis’ career has been altered dramatically due to injuries. He was only able to play sparingly in 2020 and missed the final 2 months of his 2021 season with a torn bicep. He stayed relatively healthy for the 2022 season and had a very productive year, finishing with 7 sacks and 36 pressures per PFF.
In 2023, Davis started 13 games and totaled 34 tackles, 3.5 TFL, and 0.5 sacks.
