Andrew Coker attended James E. Taylor High School in Texas where he was a three-star recruit and was rated as the no. 41 offensive tackle in the nation by 247Sports. He dominated throughout his 3 years starting on the offensive line and was named to the First-Team Tops in Texas by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football. During his recruiting, he received several offers, but he eventually committed to TCU over Florida, Georgia, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Texas.
In 2019, Coker only saw action in 3 games, preserving his redshirt season for the Horned Frogs. Coker started the first 8 games in 2020 at right tackle and was named Second-Team Academic All-Big 12 in 2021 where he started all 12 games at right tackle. With Coker at right tackle and Ebinna Eze at left tackle, TCU had one of the best offensive lines in the Big 12.
In 2022, he made all 15 starts at right tackle, to put his consecutive starts streak at 27 for the Horned Frogs and was named to the Honorable-Mention All-Big 12 after his stellar season.In 2023, he started in 10 games and missed 2 contests due to injury.
