Jackson was a 3-star recruit out of Dr. Henry Wise High School in Upper Marlboro, MD. He helped the team finish 14-0 and claim a MPSSAA 4A state title in his senior year. He played both wide receiver and defensive back in high school and finished his senior year with 39 receptions for 612 yards and 12 touchdowns. He elected to go to Fort Scott Community College for the 2019 season.
He started 8 games for Fort Scott Community College and collected 25 tackles and 3 interceptions. He was a 4-star JUCO recruit and ranked as the #1 overall player by ESPN JC50. He signed with Alabama over a slew of offers from dozens of Division 1 schools.
In his sophomore year at Alabama, Jackson played in 12 games, adding depth to the secondary while making an impact on special teams. He totaled 7 tackles and 2 pass breakups in his very limited time on defense.
Last season, his playing time was limited again and saw action in 9 games with 1 start. He tallied 7 tackles and after 2 seasons of limited action, he entered the transfer portal following the season. He signed with Oregon to continue his collegiate career in 2023.
This season for the Ducks, Khyree Jackson showed how special his play can be as a starter. In 12 games for Oregon, he tallied 34 tackles, 5 tackles for a loss, 2 sacks, 3 interceptions and 7 passes defended. He was named to the All-Pac 12 first team for his performance this season and also opened up a lot of eyes in the process.
