MLB released rosters for the 2024 Futures Game this week. The game will take place on Saturday, July 13 in Arlington, Texas as part of All-Star Weekend. The game will be a seven-inning exhibition game featuring 33 of MLB’s top 100 prospects.
The rosters are headlined by the Washington Nationals outfielder James Wood, although it is unlikely he participates after the Nationals called him up to majors earlier in the week. The National League roster also consists of two of the game's brightest prospects in outfielder Dylan Crews of Washington and catcher Ethan Salas of San Diego.
The American League roster features four of baseball’s 20 best prospects, which consists of Red Sox shortstop Marcelo Mayer, Orioles catcher Samuel Basallo and a pair of White Sox, left-handed pitcher Noah Schultz and shortstop Colson Montgomery.
Draft Nation will go through each American League player and show you how each player is doing this season and how they got to professional ball.
