Sinnott was a multi-sport athlete at Columbus Catholic lettering in football, baseball, hockey, golf, tennis and track. He was named to the All-State team as a tight end, receiver and defensive end. He hauled in 61 career receptions for 958 yards and 22 touchdowns.
In his freshman season in 2020, he did not see any game action and took a redshirt. In 2021, he played in the final 12 games of the season lining up at fullback and tight end and ended the season rushing the ball 3 times for 12 yards and hauled in 2 passes for 15 yards.
Last season, Ben Sinnott started all 14 games, snaring 31 passes for 447 yards and 4 touchdowns. He led all Big-12 tight ends and ranked 4th nationally with a 14.4 receiving average. After his stellar season, he was named first team All-Big 12.
This season, Sinnott had a huge season for Kansas State. In 12 games he hauled in 49 receptions for 676 yards and 6 touchdowns.
