Dylan Laube had a decorated career at Westhampton High School in New York. As a senior, he led Westhampton to a 12-0 record and the school’s first Long Island Class III Championship by scoring a Long Island-record 47 touchdowns and rushing for a school record 2,680 yards. His productive career ended with 6,495 rushing yards, caught 64 passes for 1,234 yards and finished with a total of 120 touchdowns. He was a member of the USA Today ALL-USA New York Football Team. During his senior year, he committed to New Hampshire.
Laube took a redshirt in 2018 after only playing special teams for 3 games. In 2019, he was named to Phil Steele’s FCS Freshman All-America Second Team (all purpose). He played in 10 games, starting 2. He was the team leader in all-purpose yards with 1,372.
With the cancellation of the season in 2020 due to Covid-19, Laube came back in 2021 with another productive season for the Wildcats. He rushed for 501 yards on 79 attempts (6.3 avg) and 4 touchdowns. He was also effective in the passing game with 22 receptions and a touchdown. 2022 was a huge season for Laube when he ran for 1,205 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also hauled in 49 passes and was one of the top kick and punt returners in the FCS.
This season, he appeared in 10 games and ran for 715 yards and 9 touchdowns. He set career highs in receptions with 68 and he added 7 more touchdowns.
