Brandon Crenshaw-Dixon attended Narbonne High School in Inglewood, California. He was a three-star recruit at tackle, who according to MaxPreps, finished with 12 pancake blocks in 2018. He committed to San Diego State during his senior season of high school.
In 2019, Crenshaw-Dixon did not make an appearance and earned a redshirt. He was named the San Diego State Offensive Scout Player of the Year. The redshirt sophomore saw his first action in 2020, playing in one game against Utah State. The following year, Crenshaw-Dixon earned the staring right tackle position and started all 14 games for the Aztecs. He played 932 of the team's 967 offensive snaps, the second most on the team. According to Pro Football Focus, he allowed just one sack in 403 passing chances. In 2022, Crenshaw-Dixon started 12 of the team's 13 games at left tackle and played in all 13. Crenshaw-Dixon saw action in ten games with nine starts in 2023, making five starts at left tackle and four at right tackle.
After his five seasons at San Diego State, the experienced tackle entered the transfer portal and transferred to the University of Florida. In his first season with the Gators, Crenshaw-Dixon appeared in all 12 games and garnered 11 starts. He logged 685 offensive snaps at right tackle and was credited with not allowing a sack.
