Jacob Parrish attended Olathe North High School in Missouri, where he was a football, track and basketball star. Parrish was a dynamic player who saw time at defensive back, running back and wide receiver. He totaled 137 career tackles- to go along with six interceptions and 21 total passes defended. He rushed for 1,951 career yards and 22 touchdowns while hauling in 69 passes for 1,313 yards and another 15 scores. Parrish was a three-star prospect and decided to give up track and commit to Kansas State University to play football.
As a true freshman, he played in 14 games as both a reserve cornerback and special teams contributor. He finished the season with 14 tackles and three passes defended. Parrish started all 12 games as a sophomore and earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention accolades. He totaled 44 tackles, four interceptions, 0.5 sack and nine passes defended.
As a junior in 2024, Parrish started all 12 games and registered 50 tackles, one interception and seven passes defended for the Wildcats. At the end of the 2024 season, the junior cornerback declared for the NFL Draft.
