Terrance Ferguson attended Heritage High School in Colorado, where he was a star tight end on the football team. In his junior season, he hauled in 54 receptions for 929 yards and 11 touchdowns. Coming out of high school, Ferguson was rated as the number 10 tight end nationally and the four-star prospect committed to play football at the University of Oregon during his senior season.
Ferguson stepped right into a reserve role during his freshman season at Oregon playing in 14 games and finishing with 17 receptions for 141 yards and two touchdowns. As a sophomore, he appeared in all 13 games, making six starts and finished fourth in the conference in receptions with 32 catches for 391 yards and five touchdowns. As a junior, he was an all-Pac-12 first-team selceton while playing in all 14 games for the Ducks with 12 starts. He finished with career highs in receptions(42), yards(414) and touchdowns(6)
In 2024, the senior tight end helped lead the Ducks to a 13-0 record and No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoffs.
