Zach Frazier was a Class AA All-State First Team selection and All-USA West Virginia First Team Offense in 2018 & 2019, helping lead Fairmont High School to a AA class championship as a junior. He was a four-time wrestling state champion, and only lost two matches in his wrestling career. He was named the #1 prospect out of West Virginia by Rivals, and the #7 center in the country by 247Sports.
Frazier started 9 out of 10 games at left guard and was the first true freshman to start on the offensive line for West Virginia since 1980. He did not allow a sack in 9 games and was named Freshman All-American by 247Sports.
In 2021, Frazier moved to center and started all 13 games. He registered 63 knock down blocks and only allowed 3 sacks on the season, earning All-American 2nd team honors.
Frazier was named All-Big 12 Conference First Team after starting all 12 games and only allowing 1 sack. He was credited with 51 knockdowns and was listed as having 11 games without missing an assignment.
Frazier started each game in 2023 for West Virginia. He has been as reliable as any top prospect in the country.
