Jared Thomas

Thomas attended Waxahachie High School in Texas. As a junior in 2021, he batted .484 with 14 doubles, three triples and four homers and finished the year with 38 RBI, 35 runs and 22 stolen bases. He was named as a First Team All-State selection and was ranked the 24th best prospect out of Texas. As a freshman, Thomas made an immediate impact, slashing .321/.398/.484 (average, on base %, slugging) and driving in 29 RBI in 64 games played (60 starts). He hit 4 home runs, 15 doubles, and 4 triples. He earned an All-Big 12 Freshman Team selection as well as an Honorable Mention All-Big 12. This year is Thomas' sophomore season with the Longhorns. He looks to continue his success at the plate and keep rising up on draft boards.
