Grayson Murphy

Murphy attended Bishop Lynch high school. As a senior, he had 35 solo tackles, 44 assisted, 15 tackles for loss, 5 sacks, 12 QB hurries, six forced fumbles and three interceptions. He was rated a 3-star recruit by ESPN, and 247Sports. He chose to join UCLA after high school. Murphy played 4 games as a freshman and redshirted heading into his second season. In his second season he appeared in 8 games making 19 tackles (7 solo, 12 assisted), 4.0 for loss, 3.0 sacks and four quarterback hurries. In 2021, he appeared in 13 games with 12 starts at DE. He had 38 tackles, 12.5 TFLs and 8.5 sacks with two forced fumbles, one recovery for a touchdown and nine quarterback hurries. After that season, he transferred to UCLA. In his two seasons at UCLA, he made 9.0 TFL and 5.0 sacks each, gaining attention as a possible later round pick for this year.
