Jasheen Davis played his high school football at Shiloh High School where he recorded 159 career tackles. In his final season, he collected 86 tackles, 11 sacks and a pair of touchdowns. He was named first team all-county, first team all-region as a senior and was twice named Gwinnett County Player of the Week. He earned a 3-star rating from ESPN and Rivals.com, and had a 4-star rating from 247Sports. Davis chose Wake Forest over offers from LSU, Tennessee, Penn State, and others.
In 2020, during his freshman year at Wake, Davis played in just two games and recorded three tackles. He redshirted and looked forward to his second season. In 2021, Davis had his first season as a starter for the Demon Deacons. He played in all 13 games and recorded 34 tackles, 8.5 TFL, and 5.5 sacks. This season solidified him as an important part of the pass rush for the Wake Forest defense in coming seasons.
In his third season with Wake, Davis recorded 33 tackles, and upped his numbers in TFL and sacks, collecting 14 and 7 respectively. His continued improvement carried over to his redshirt junior season this year as he has played in 12 games and improved all of his numbers once again. He recorded 49 tackles, 17 TFL, and 7.5 sacks and has drawn attention from the NFL world.
