Shemar Stewart

Shemar Stewart was born in Miami, Florida and attended Monsignor Pace Academy, where he played football and became one of the top recruits in the 2022 class. He received a No. 7 rating from ESPN, No. 9 from 247Sports, and No. 12 from USA Today and was a two sport athlete, playing both football and basketball. He was also rated as the top edge rusher in the 2022 class and accepted a scholarship from Texas A&M. As a freshman, Turner played in all 12 games, making six starts. He finished the season picking up 23 tackles, four tackles for a loss, and 1.5 sacks. He earned the defensive Top Newcomer award at the annual team banquet. Turner played in all 13 games as a sophomore, making one start in the Texas Bowl against Oklahoma State. On the season, he collected 11 tackles, 1.5 and recovered and returned a fumble for a touchdown.
